Investment Advisor Representative

Cameron Woodbury

Cameron Woodbury helps individuals and families bring clarity, coordination, and confidence to their most important financial decisions.

Cameron Woodbury helps individuals and families bring clarity, coordination, and confidence to important financial decisions. As an Investment Advisor Representative with ArchAngel Financial Services, he works with clients who want their investments, retirement goals, tax considerations, insurance decisions, and long-term plans to work together rather than exist as disconnected pieces.

Born and raised in the High Desert, Cameron continues to live and work in the community he serves. That local connection matters to him. He understands that every financial decision has a human side: retirement is about how a client wants to spend their time; investment planning is about providing for the people and causes they care about; and estate and legacy planning is about making the process easier for loved ones.

Cameron’s approach is practical, collaborative, and personal. He begins by listening—learning what matters most to each client, the questions keeping them up at night, the opportunities they want to pursue, and the risks they want to manage. From there, he helps organize the moving parts into an understandable plan with clear next steps. His goal is not to overwhelm clients with jargon or make decisions for them; it is to help them make informed decisions with a plan that reflects their goals and values.

He particularly values coordination among a client’s financial advisor, attorney, tax professional, and other trusted specialists. When the right professionals communicate effectively, clients are better positioned to understand the trade-offs involved and to make decisions with the full picture in mind.

Cameron’s experience at ArchAngel Financial Services began from the ground up. He joined the firm in 2012 in an entry-level office-support role, helping wherever help was needed, and spent his first years supporting client communications, account-service requests, document follow-up, and meeting preparation. From 2016 to 2022, his responsibilities expanded into financial-plan preparation and portfolio-management support, deepening his interest in investment management and comprehensive financial planning. Since 2022, he has served clients as an Investment Advisor Representative, bringing the perspective of someone who has worked in nearly every part of the client experience.

Cameron’s philosophy is built on three principles: listen first, coordinate the details, and stay engaged. Before discussing investments or recommendations, he works to understand each client’s goals, concerns, resources, family situation, and priorities. Because financial decisions affect one another — investment choices may influence taxes, estate documents may affect beneficiary designations, insurance decisions may affect cash flow — he believes clients benefit when the relevant pieces of a financial life are reviewed together and, when appropriate, coordinated with a client’s attorney and tax professional. And because a financial plan is not a one-time event, he values regular communication and thoughtful follow-up as life unfolds.

Cameron is proud to be part of the High Desert community. Outside the office, he volunteers as a Little League coach, where he enjoys helping players develop skills, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship — values that reflect how he works with clients: preparation matters, fundamentals matter, and a strong team depends on communication and trust.
